Poland urges Euro 2012 fans to submit applications for visas more quickly
The Polish Embassy in Ukraine has called on fans to speed up the submission of applications for visas to this country before and during the Euro 2012 European Football Championship, a Polish diplomat has said.
"We are asking all interested parties to apply for visas as soon as possible, so as to freely arrive for the tournament," the consul general and head of the consular department at the Polish Embassy in Ukraine, Rafal Wolski, said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
He noted that they special windows would be set up for those who apply for visas to attend Euro 2012 matches on the basis of questionnaires filled in by hand.
The diplomat also said that organized groups of fans would be served on a priority basis without the personal submission of questionnaires. The members of official delegations, players and judges will also be served first.
